Your front door is a phone screen.

Prima Domus builds the website and runs the advertising that fills it — for restaurants, retail, healthcare, trades and real estate — anyone whose next customer is searching for them right now.

100What we do

Four things, done properly.

Most clients start with a website and add the advertising once it is earning. That order is deliberate — ads pointed at a bad site just cost more.

Most people meet your business on a phone, standing outside, deciding whether to come in — and plenty come back on a desktop before they book. Both get built properly: the phone for the quick decision, the desktop for the longer look. No page templates, and no builder charging you monthly to keep your own site online.

  • Design and build, start to finish
  • Tested on phone, tablet and desktop
  • Online booking, ordering or contact forms
  • Menus, price lists and hours you can edit
  • Hosting, domain and the boring technical parts
  • Photography where the existing pictures let you down

Small budgets spent carefully beat big budgets spent broadly. We run to a cost per lead you agree up front, and we will tell you when advertising is the wrong answer — sometimes the money is better spent on the site, or on getting twenty more reviews.

  • Google Search and Performance Max
  • Meta — Facebook and Instagram
  • Local and seasonal campaigns
  • Tracking set up so the numbers are real
  • A monthly report a human can read

A logo is the smallest part of it. What matters is that the sign, the menu, the van, the window and the website read as the same business — because that is what makes a two-person operation look like an established one.

  • Naming, where you are starting fresh
  • Marque, wordmark and color
  • Signage, vehicle wraps and window graphics
  • Menus, price lists, cards and packaging
  • Simple guidelines you can hand to a printer

For most local businesses this is the highest-return work there is, and it is the part almost everybody neglects. Someone searching “dentist near me” is ready to book. If you are not in the map results, that booking goes to whoever is.

  • Google Business Profile, properly set up
  • Map-pack ranking for the searches that matter
  • Review generation, and replies that read like you
  • Directory and listing consistency
  • Location pages for multi-site businesses

200How it runs

Four stages, in this order.

Most builds take one to two weeks from first call to live. Advertising starts after, once there is somewhere worth sending people.

Stage 01

Listen

An hour on the phone or at your place. What you actually sell, who walks in, what they ask before they buy, and what the competitor down the road is already doing better.

Output — the brief, on one page

Stage 02

Direction

One route, shown properly, before anything is built. Name, color and the shape of the site settle here — changing them later is what makes projects expensive.

Output — one route, signed off

Stage 03

Build

Site, brand and the pieces that hang off them — booking, menus, listings, signage artwork. Built in one place so they end up looking like one business.

Output — live, and editable by you

Stage 04

Run

Launch, then stay. Advertising goes live, reviews start arriving, and we look at the numbers monthly and change whatever is not earning.

Output — monthly review, plain English

300The studio

Prima domus — the first house.

A Roman domus opened through a single arch, and everything past it was arranged around that one doorway. Your business has the same thing, except it is now a phone screen — and for most people it is the only door they will look through before deciding whether to walk through the real one.

Prima Domus is an independent studio run by one person. The person you brief is the person who does the work — no account manager in the middle, no handoff to a junior, and nobody learning on your budget.

We build websites and run advertising for businesses that have something good and no time to sell it: restaurants, retail, healthcare, trades and real estate. Based in Los Angeles, working with businesses here and anywhere else the work makes sense. Real estate is its own discipline — renders, floorplans, listings — and we take that on too.

Because it is one pair of hands, we run a few projects at a time rather than many. If we are not the right fit we will say so on the first call rather than the third invoice.

  • Threshold

Every site has one door and one job. Anything that does not help someone through it gets cut, including the bits we liked.

  • Plumb

Sign, window, menu, van and website reading as one business. Drift is what makes a good operation look like a chancer.

  • Snagging

We stay past launch. The first month of real traffic always says something the plan did not.
